Google Pixel 4 Launch Video — Made by Google Keynote, NYC
When Google prepared to unveil the Pixel 4 at their annual Made by Google keynote in New York City, they wanted more than a product demo—they wanted a story. The goal was to showcase how the new #Pixel4 camera could transform the way we see the world, and to do it live on the biggest stage of the year.

The Challenge
Google tapped #TeamPixel creators and Instagram photographer influencers Jacob Santiago and Liz Eswein to capture their city through the Pixel 4. My role was to create a film that opened the keynote and set the tone—a behind-the-scenes look into “the capturing of,” showing how New York itself is reframed with a single snap.
I took full creative control of the project, handling everything from concept development to directing, filming, and editing. With only three days to bring the piece to life, the challenge was clear: craft a polished, high-energy film that felt both authentic to NYC and powerful enough to highlight the Pixel 4’s most innovative features.

The Features Showcase
The video wove the city’s rhythm together with the Pixel 4’s new camera capabilities, including:
- Top Shot — capturing the perfect instant, every time
- Super Res Zoom — crisp details from a distance
- Dual Exposure Controls — cinematic balance of light and shadow
- Night Sight — rich detail long after the sun goes down
- Portrait Mode — depth and artistry in any setting
- Group Selfies — more friends, less cropping

The Outcome
The final film premiered as the opening video of the Made by Google keynote. It didn’t just showcase features—it told a story of urban creativity, blending New York’s energy with the Pixel’s technology. The result was a keynote experience that set the stage for the global launch and positioned the Pixel 4 as more than a phone: a creative tool built to reimagine how we capture the world.
